(no the Olivia books are for you kiddo, this one’s for mommy)
For my AA/NA and/or pregnant friends & loved ones: once a week for fun I’ll be posting info about cocktail making. I realize this can be a trigger for some, so if you’d like me to turn off these posts for you feel free to message me, or just ignore them, whatever you’re comfortable with, totally no hard feelings. #allmylove #staysafe #drinkresponsibly
I actually found the Cocktail Codex book while looking for a friend’s book: A-Z cocktails, and they at the library instead. It’s separated into the 6 OG cocktail categories, and it sort of explains how they work and how you can modify them, but it does not explain what the 10,000+ kinds of ingredients taste like, which makes the recipes pretty confusing so far. Although I’m only up to page 15, so maybe “its get better”?
Also apparently this is book #2 which follows the Death & Co.: Modern Classic Cocktails book, so I kinda feel like I missed the 101: intro to what’s going on here class
